Ellen summitted another 8,000 meter peak: On October 1, 2010, Ellen reached the summit of the World's 8th highest mountain, Manaslu, in Nepal. Manaslu is located in the remote Samagoen region region of Nepal and is known as "The Mountain of the Spirit." She climbed with the notable Himex team, including Billi Beirling, Russell Brice and Nima Tsering Sherpa.
